Yoga is my way of life

I have been practicing yoga for fourteen years, I was soon inclined to the Ashtanga yoga system. I did my training as an instructor at Yoga Center Madrid certified by AIPYS (International Association of Yoga Teachers Sananda) and continued my training process attending courses and seminars frequently with great masters such as Nuno Oliveira, Peter Sanson, Petri Raisanen, Lucy Crawdford, Tarik Van Prem, Lea Marie Perfetti and Way Ten, all direct disciples of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and accredited by KPJAYI.

Seeking growth through practice and knowledge of this age-old lifestyle which encompasses all aspects of being. Fundo Yoga Studio Gijón in September 2012. A pair of years later with the collaboration of a great companion and teacher Estafaría Bravo we create an intimate and welcoming space for anyone who approaches the practice of Ashtanga.  We want to share what one day our teacher offered to us and that we have so much contributed to our personal balance and spiritual development.

The practice of yoga has enormous physical benefits we gain a lot of flexibility, strength and balance but for me the most outstanding has been to develop patience and serenity in moments of pain, to provide an internal strength to calmly and joyfully support the difficulties and above all to enjoy of the little things we have in life. This is the true path of yoga that through perseverance and tenacity we can work every day.


At the moment I compagino my classes in the center, the direction of this one with my family, also recently we have initiated a project of personal development with horses, using techniques of meditation and corporal conscience applied to the work with the horses as well as workshops of emotional intelligence for children with horses.

Put your heart, mind and soul even in the smallest acts, that is the secret of success

It was during a trip and stage of change in my life that a good friend showed me the Yoga and various techniques to help me reconnect with myself. Since then I started this way in which I continue today. I discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga by Nick Evans and Katia Gomez in Oviedo. From that moment I felt very close to practice and brought me many benefits. One day, I felt the desire to transmit what I was learning and it was as arose in my desire to lead others.

My practice and experience draws on the lessons I learn from my teachers Nuno de Oliveira, Tarik Van Prem and Lea Perfetti, with whom I study regularly in Oviedo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. In addition, I have attended intensive workshops with Nancy
Gilgoff, David Swenson and Peter Sanson.

Since 2012 I have traveled to Mysore whenever I can to study at the KPJAYI with Sharath and Saraswati Jois.

In 2013 I began to study Vedanta Philosophy at Sivananda School (Montreal, Canada). Since 2015 I study yoga philosophy with Arvind Pare (Mysore) and I go into the chanting of the classic yoga texts with Ranjini (Mysore).

I combine my Yoga teaching with my work and training as an Environmental Scientist, working in areas related to Agroecology, environmental education and the approach to nature and respect for other living beings. During my yoga classes, I try to adapt to the needs of each person and convey the therapeutic benefits of practicing Ashtanga Yoga. I try to guide people in increasing their body awareness and in the search for new patterns of relationship with ourselves and with others. I believe that spiritual discovery comes after healing, cleansing and reconciliation with our physical bodies, and this is only achieved through practice and experience.

What is ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga?

Yoga is a mental method or discipline accompanied by a sequence of physical exercises or 'asanas' as well as breathing exercises or 'pranayama' which help re, flexibility, resistance and concentrationjuvenate and strengthen the body, developing strength. When the body regains balance, the mind is freed from negative emotions caused by stress.

Who is it for?

Yoga is beneficial for anybody, not only those who are in good shape or are interested in the spiritual side of it. The warmth generated by the series of exercises, combined with the healthy sweating caused by them, allows us to overcome not only body tension but also anxiety, no matter the physical condition we are in or how flexible we are. Yoga fills our body with energy and calms our mind.

Mysore: Es un estilo de clase tradicional.Recibe su nombre por la ciudad de la India. Cada alumno realiza su práctica en función de sus capacidades y experiencia. Según el alumno sea mas o menos avanzado tendrá una duración diferente.
Clase Guiada: Forma de clase occidental. El profesor imparte la clase y todos los alumnos hacen la secuencia a la vez.
